Being a public institution separate from the local school districts, our Charter is the founding document agreed upon and authorized by the Utah State Office of Education (USOE). It serves as our “marching orders” upon which all decisions affecting the school are founded. The Charter outlines many founding philosophies and practices of the program. From enrollment to curriculum, from Governing Board structure to student discipline practices, from fiscal management to student assessment, the Charter serves as our ultimate guide. The Parent Handbook and Teacher Handbook, authorized by the Charter and approved by the Governing Board, serve as outlines of the detailed practices stemming from the founding philosophies found in the Charter.
