Christina Smith

Edison North Assistant Principal & Special Education Director

Thomas Edison Charter School is such a special place. Students are held to high expectations while being taught in a positive environment. This is exactly what I wanted for my own children when we moved to Cache County from out of state in 2013. Spending my time in such a positive atmosphere is an amazing experience that I look forward to every day.

My husband and I have been married for over twenty years. We have two teenage children and two dogs. In our house we are huge fans of Star Wars and love all things Hobbit related (my dogs are even named for characters from these books and movies). When I am not at school I can often be found curled up on my sofa with a good book or playing board games with my family. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a children’s therapist, working with individuals and families to navigate complicated circumstances. That role helped to prepare me for my career as an educator. My goal is to help every student who walks into our school feel as if they are valued and belong.
