Qualifications:
I choose to work at Thomas Edison Charter School because I love how it feels like a family! The administration here is so supportive and I love being able to make connections with the families who are enrolled here.
As a third grader, I remember setting up stuffed animals on the stairs and pretending to be their teacher. I feel so lucky to be living my childhood dream now as a third grade teacher.
I love the outdoors! Hiking is one of my favorite activities and it is a lifetime goal of mine to hike the tallest peak in every state. I grew up playing soccer and basketball and ran cross country and track in high school. I was able to compete at the collegiate level for USU and think that sports can teach us some of life's greatest lessons. Some of my other favorites are traveling, cooking, camping, reading, and chocolate.
I am so grateful to be part of the Thomas Edison family! I am originally from Highland, Utah, but after graduating from USU, I feel so lucky to be able to stay in Cache Valley to teach. I look forward to coming to school each day and look forward to getting to know my students better.
