Qualifications:
I simply love being a teacher at Thomas Edison! Each day, my focus is on teaching important skills to my second graders in a safe and happy classroom. This is a wonderful place to facilitate a great school experience.
I felt like I wanted to be a teacher when I was in the first grade, and am so grateful that dream became a reality. If you visit my classroom you'll find whales, lighthouses, sailboats and the New England states. I theme, and find joy in creativity and details. When I'm not at school I enjoy building with Legos, spending time with my dad and our dog Houghton, and planning trips to Disneyland. When summer arrives I am so happy to go back to Kentucky, where my roots are found. Mary Poppins is my favorite movie, and if it's British, I probably love it. Someday I hope to be a published author.
