Qualifications:
I love teaching at Thomas Edison Charter School because of the students. They are bright and interested in the world, and we can discuss and learn in an emotionally safe environment. The small school atmosphere encourages close friendships, and the curriculum is challenging and keeps students involved. TECS is a great place to learn and teach.
I have lived in Cache Valley for just over 20 years and love it here. I grew up in Idaho but my husband and I raised our children here in the valley and we love hiking, kayaking, and attending events at USU. I also enjoy playing volleyball, baking pies, and staying up late reading a good book. I started teaching at TECS when my kids went to school, and have found that teaching students to write is one of the most satisfying activities anywhere.
